1. What BillOnce is

BillOnce is a browser-based invoice generator. The free tier lets you create unlimited invoices locally on your device. The paid “Lifetime” tier ($19, one-time) removes branding from exported PDFs and unlocks premium templates and higher AI-assist limits.

2. Payments

Purchases are processed by Waffo, acting as Merchant of Record. Waffo handles payment collection, applicable taxes (including VAT/GST where required), and receipts. When you buy, you enter a payment relationship with Waffo on our behalf. Your card details never touch our servers.

3. License

A Lifetime purchase grants you a perpetual, personal license to use the paid features of BillOnce on any device you control, using the license key issued to you. Keys are personal; resale or public sharing of keys is not permitted. If a payment is refunded or charged back, the associated license is revoked.

4. Your data

Invoices you create are stored only in your browser's local storage on your device. We do not receive, store, or back up your invoice data. Clearing your browser data removes your invoices — please keep your own backups (export functionality is on the roadmap). See the Privacy Policy for what little we do process.

5. AI features

AI line-item generation sends the text you explicitly submit to a third-party AI provider to produce suggestions. Do not paste confidential information you don't intend to process this way. AI output can be wrong — you are responsible for reviewing every invoice before sending it.

6. No warranty; limitation of liability

BillOnce is provided “as is”. You are responsible for the accuracy and legal compliance of the invoices you create and send. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of BillOnce is limited to the amount you paid.

7. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be noted on this page with a new date. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
